How care begins

From first phone call to first visit.

Arranging care for someone you love should not feel like buying a service. Here is exactly what happens, and roughly how long each step takes.

  1. 01

    A first phone call

Tell us who care is for and what has changed. We will listen, ask a few practical questions, and be honest if we are not the right service.

  2. 02

    A free home visit

We come to you, meet everyone involved, and walk through the home. There is no charge and no obligation.

  3. 03

A written care plan and quotation

You receive a plain-English plan, a written quotation, and named carers proposed for the rota — before anything is agreed.

  4. 04

    Care begins with an introduction

The first visit is an introduction, not a full shift. We adjust the plan as we learn what actually works.

  5. 05

    Ongoing review

Care plans are reviewed at set intervals and any time needs change. Nothing changes without being agreed with you first.

Cost and funding

Straight talk on price.

We publish a written quotation after a free home visit rather than a public price list, because hourly rates depend on the level of support, the length of visits and the time of day. We are happy to talk pricing on the phone before you book a visit.

Private pay

Paid directly by the family, invoiced monthly in arrears with a clear breakdown of hours delivered.

Local authority direct payments

Where a needs assessment has been completed and a personal budget agreed, we can invoice against direct payments.

Attendance Allowance

A non-means-tested benefit for people over State Pension age who need help with personal care. We can point you to the application.

NHS Continuing Healthcare

For people whose primary need is a health need. We can work alongside a CHC package where one is in place.

Next step

Get a written quotation.

Prices depend on the level of support. We publish a quotation after the free home visit — never before.
